I began leading Writing from Your Inner Wilderness Playshops to nourish my soul and stop writing alone. I'd love to have you join me and other writers for an afternoon of generating new work and sharing creative efforts with kindred spirits.

During the first hour and a half of my playshops, I  provide exercises to spark your imagination and start your creative juices flowing. We'll write for 30 minutes and then share our words with each other, receiving positive feedback.

During the second hour and a half, we have the option to either write new words or edit something we have already written. You may bring a few pages of prose or a poem you wish to hone, or choose to craft a new piece. We will spend 30 minutes on this endeavor, then share our words again. During our final session, you may choose to receive positive feedback only, or receive both positive and helpful feedback.

 EXCITING NEWS!

I'm expanding my teaching practice to include six-hour playshops, and am seeking writers who are willing to
open their homes. I'm willing to travel up to two hours
to hold a playshop in your location. Six-hour playshops cost
$50.00 per participant and run from 11 am until 5 pm.
If you host, you attend free of charge.
You can choose to host a playshop on Saturday or Sunday.
